The Duc was developed in the mid 19th century as a separate model of a carriage type named Cabriolet á la Domont. The Duc has two seats and was a typical summer car. Its hallmark is a relatively deep design with comfortable and wide entrance, yet without doors.
The Aagland is powered by a smooth-running diesel engine.
The extreme diameter of the rear drive wheels of 110 cm was responsible for a special transmission design by limiting the maximum speed to less than 20 km/h.
With an overall reduction to 1:70 Aagland has a high torque, so that even steep inclines can be mastered easily.
The Aagland driver is only using the accelerator pedal. The stepless powertrain provides an extremely comfortable ride without having to give up it’s own unique driving behavior.

The design of the vehicle was based on the appearance of the skin wing and is therefore unique in Germany. Protected by utility models, the idea began to become reality. Automotive light weight construction has been applied not only in building the outer frame: Every minute detail has been examined and refined through experience and innovation. Also, we greatly advanced the stability of the undercarriage.
The design of the cabin communicates the experience of flying due to the expanded front shield and the extended side shields as well as the spacious and ergonomically designed seats. All instruments are situated conviniently within the view of the driver, providing for optimal visual and sensory control.
Roding Roadster R1
The Roding Roadster is a two-seater medium-sized sports car with a carbon chassis and powerful BMW straight 6 cylinder turbo engine. The engine generates over 320 HP and has a torque of more than 400 Newton meters. The mid-engine is mounted traverse to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and was purposefully designed by BMW to match the needs of the Roding Roadster.
Connection of motorization and lightweight construction
Due to its lightweight design, with a vehicle weight of below 950 kg combined with the powerful engine, the Roding’s power to weight ratio is below 3 kg/HP. This allows not only for spectacular accelerating power figures, but also for higher speeds in curves, demonstrated by a radial acceleration of up to 1,4 g.
