Spira 4U
The Spira 4U is a car made of foam and uses eco-friendly plastics, and bamboo as a roll cage. Its construction uses much less resources than that of a traditional vehicle.
The honeycomb foam, in addition to buoyancy offers a high protection to the pedestrians in case of collision.
The Spira 4U, in its electric version, can travel up to 775 kilometers with a single 50KWh battery, according to the manufacturer, this would set a GuinnessWorld Record if the car were in production. It was eventually produced in China by Wangye Power Co. and later in the Philippines by Gerweiss Motor Co.
This car is very suitable for these countries, it's easy to repair, to manufacture and it's very affordable. Due to its high buoyancy, it allows you to cross rivers and obstacles, but you will need a paddle to do this. But here luxury is not sought, but practicality. It is a vehicle really suitable for underdeveloped countries where the presence of rivers can be an obstacle for people.
