Canoo pickup
Canoo is a low volume car company that has developed a breakthrough electric vehicle with a proprietary and highly versatile platform architecture, and its full-electric. The production version of the electric pickup will be available for pre-orders in the second quarter of 2021, and deliveries can begin as early as 2023.

The pickup is the third vehicle based on their multi-functional platform architecture, which accelerates the development schedule. Canoo's EV platform functionally integrates all the key components of the powertrain to make it as flat and efficient as possible. Common electric vehicle platforms have power units, shock towers and mechanical steering columns, which extend into the vehicle and take up space. By integrating steer-by-wire and other space-saving technologies, Canoo's thin platform eliminates the need for an engine compartment, allowing the company to provide a flatbed size comparable to the best-selling pickup truck in the United States in a smaller footprint. This makes the vehicle easy to maneuver, and it is more convenient to drive and park on any terrain.
Thanks to the flexible platform and steer-by-wire, the passenger compartment can move forward to maximize the driver's field of vision. Advanced lighting technology provides adaptive safety, and the Canoo's iconic headlights and taillights can be used as core brand identity without the need for a logo. In addition to storage, the front surface of the vehicle has been expanded to better protection of the headlights and windshield.
The bumper is designed to improve the functionality and the durability, with tow hooks and metal anti-skid plates integrated at the front and rear. The vehicle's fog lights are also seamlessly integrated into the bumper design, providing the driver with additional visibility and safety.
There are two seats in the front, and the rear passenger cabin can be customized to accommodate two additional seats or configurability to support additional purpose-built use-case configurability.
Canoo pickup will be fitted with an electric engine with up to 600hp and 745Nm, in both dual or rear motor configurations
