Aeon GT3
The Aeon GT3 is a fully space framed, fibreglass bodies component car, mating the bare essential parts from a donor vehicle to a light weight chassis and competent suspension set up. It has fully adjustable independent suspension on the front and rear, which has been tested at the MIRA Automotive facility for durability and design.
Available in two variants the most unique aspect of Aeon GT3 is its mid-positioned driver seat that mimics the driving position of McLaren F1. The GT3 sits on a traditional space frame and is wrapped in various fiberglass body parts that help in reducing the total body weight to less than 700kgs. Unlike other Barchettas that are offered with a limited range of engines, the Aeon GT3 can be fitted with any transverse 2wd drivetrain setup, though it comes as standard with the Ford's I4 or V6 Duratec engines. The car also offers flexibility when it comes to the number of seats in the cabin and can be availed in either 2 or 3 seat configuration.
Aeon GT3 Price: The brand is still active, but it doesn't have updated information. In 2008-2012 the kit cost was £15,000, and factory built from £23,000 (€27,000). A complete vehicle can reach €40,600. Aeon is currently focused on offering kit car and competition preparation services. (Update 02.2022)
