ZGT Car
ZGT is a rebody kit for the 1996-2002 BMW Z3.
The design is an extrapolation from the iconic, late-1950s BMW 507 into the 1960's Golden Age of the Grand Touring (GT) sports cars. This fast-forward process mimics the evolution of the 507's blunt-nose contemporaries, like the Ferrari 250GT as it became the 250GTO. Sadly, financial woes saw BMW turn away from sports cars during this magical time.
But through the lens of hindsight, ZGT captures that magic, with a no-cut/no-weld installation process on the inexpensive, but highly capable Z3 donor platform. All major panels are bolted-on, mostly re-using original fasteners and other hardware.
