Gagliardi Vex
Gagliardi Vex is based on a Porsche Boxster 987 (2005-2012) or a Porsche Boxster 986 (1997-2004).
The car requires about 4 months to build, at a cost of $ 45,000 in addition to the donor car, which must be provided by the customer. Fortunately, there is a great choice of affordable Porsche Boxtser on the second hand market.
A variety of more than 20 wheel styles are available and a choice of solid, metallic and pearl colors. It's not a kit car, but a car built entirely on the basis of a Porsche Boxster. To ensure quality, it isn't sold in kit form, but the entire production process is controlled by Gagliardi. In the same way, they keep all the possible original parts of the Porsche Boxster to guarantee the quality of the vehicle.
The original prototype was built in sheet metal and was later reproduced in fiberglass. The final weight of the car is very similar to the original Porsche Boxster. Roof mechanics and other components are removed to lighten the vehicle. The roof is made with a combination of aluminum frame and composite skin, the customer can also choose a transparent roof.
