Chesil 356
The Chesil 356 is a replica very similar to the original Porsche 356. It can be equipped with several VW Flat air cooled engine options from the Beetle: 1,600cc of 70bhp, 1,800cc of 90bhp and 2,000cc of 120bhp. These engines are updated, rebuilt and adapted to the Chesil 356. It also uses the running gear of the VW Beetle as well as the gearbox.
The body is formed from Unstressed GRP on a square section tubular chassis. Various elements are used throughout the chassis to reinforce its rigidity.
All seat, door and dashboard upholstery are handcrafted by artisans.
