Trident Iceni
Trident Iceni has a mid-mounted front 6.6-liter V8 turbo diesel engine with common rail, direct injection and 4 valves per cylinder. The basic engine produces 397 bhp and 950Nm of torque. In higher versions we find an engine of 430hp and 1280Nm and other with 660hp and 1423Nm.
To handle this power, Trident designed and manufactured its own gearbox and differential. The differential has a 10-inch crown wheel and pinion, with geared True Trac limited slip function.
The chassis is made of a special grade of stainless steel, using non-traditional material selection, providing an extremely strong structure and first-class torsional rigidity. The dual baffle pontoon outriggers of 50mm provide a high side impact protection.
