Donkervoort D8 GTO
In December 2011, Donkervoort released the latest generation of Donkervoort: D8 GTO, with a power-to-weight ratio of less than 2.
It has a power rating of 340 to 380 horsepower and a torque of 450 Nm, starting at approximately 1600 rpm. Larger than its predecessors, but weighs about 700 kg, almost not heavy, and very easy to drive.
D8 GTO has also obtained the new European Community Small Series Model Certification (ECSSTA), which has opened up not only the European market but also other foreign markets for Donkervoort. In 2013, the first batch of 25 Premium D8 GTOs was delivered; after that, the production of "regular" D8 GTOs began in 2014. In 2015 and 2016 respectively.
Since then Donkervoort has launched special units in very limited units, and for a limited time. Initially they were the D8 GTO Bilster Berg edition and the D8 GTO bare carbon edition-GTO's limited special edition; then the D8 GTO “1000 Miglia Edition”.
The exact specifications will depend on the limited edition that is in production. For example, the Donkervoort D8 GTO RS has a cost of € 151,173, is equipped with a 380bhp Audi 2.5L R5 TFSI engine, has a weight of 695 kgs.
The D8 GTO JD-70, which begins production in 2019, has a similar weight to its predecessor, but generates 415bhp. It has a cost of € 198,000
