Tom Pro design has designed this lightweight sand car, weighing just 840kgs (1850). It is equipped with a Hayabusa engine, which gives it a lot of agility and speed of reaction.
The chassis and suspension arms are made of Chromoly (41xx steel) tubes. This metal contains chromium and molybdenum. They have an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and are considerably stronger and harder than standard 1020 steel.
