Carteroni is a New Zealand manufacturer that builds a faithful replica of the legendary Lancia 037. Carteroni has more than 25 years of experience in Rally cars, especially in Lancia.
The bodywork is made from fibreglass gel coat body panels, using fire-retardant resin and assembled by hand. These panels are designed to last and have a weight comparable to carbon kevlar sets. The body design is made from scratch, it has not been made by taking a mold from the original 037 body. So the quality is very high, with perfect settings.
This Lancia 037 replica is based on a remanufactured Lancia Montecarlo, with the body cleaned and structurally reinforced. The 037 chassis is built from scratch, with laser cut seamless steel tubing.
The 037 replica packs a Lancia Beta engine, pumping out 200hp, with a 5 speed gearbox.
