The Estrima Birò is an urban micro car with two seats, made in Italy.
In some countries it's legally comparable to a 50 cc moped: its top speed is 45 km/h. In Italy, it can be driven with a driver's license from the age of 14. In other countries such as France, Netherlands or Spain can be driven without a driving license, but only with a moped license. So it can be driven within 14, 15 or 16 years, depending on the legality of the country.
The required parking space is similar to that of a motorcycle, with the advantage of being more protected by a reinforced frame. Its compact size allows you to maneuver quickly and flexibly in busy city traffic. Stay dry and warm in the rain and drive with the doors closed in the summer.
The Birò is driven by two electric motors on the rear wheels, producing a total of 4 kW of power.
For the Birò two different kinds of batteries are available, lead or lithium batteries. Depending on the type of battery, the Birò has a range of about 40 or 70 km. The removable battery can be recharged anywhere in 3 to 5 hours.
Birò Estrima price: Starting at € 9.000 ( 6.000€ car + 3.000€ battery). In England it starts from £9,000.
In the Netherlands it starts from €13,500, for the Winter version that is the 2nd version in the product line.
