Zenvo TSR-S
Introduced at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, Zenvo TSR-S combines their TS1 GT and TSR expertise.
The 5.8 twin turbo flat-plane V8 engine in the back is putting out a neck snapping 1.193 hp. The Zenvo TSR-S, with sharp angles and a massive rear wing - is as aggressive as it looks. That bonkers power will be sent to the rear wheels alone by the single-clutch sequential gearbox. The dual transmission allows the use of paddle shifting to switch between the standard road transmission configuration and the mechanical direct powershift race setting. The 7-speed transmission also features helical cut gears for extremely quick shifting.
Total weight is around 1,495kg. Only just enough to crack 2.8 seconds 0-100. The 0-200km/h sprint is dispatched in just 6.8 seconds.
Because the downforce works at right angles to the wing, when the car turns to one side, its active multi-axis Centripetal Wing will tilt to the opposite side and the airflow will redirect, helping to increase the pressure down through the struts, back into the car and will boost inner tyre grip. While the rear wing's pitch varies based on various parameters (speed, gravity, acceleration, and braking), the wing tilts up to 20º, activates as soon as a lateral downforce of 0.5g is detected. When braking, it creates extra drag, and when cornering.
The Zenvo is practically developed and designed in-house, in Denmark, including the engine and transmission, with a minimum number of external suppliers.
