The Superlite SL-C was designed and built by a small group of engineers to have a technologically advanced car that is easier to build and better to drive.
The Superlite SL-C has custom aluminum suspension arms and uprights that are CNC machined in-house. All SL-Cs have dual-adjustable aluminum shocks derived from the race. The chassis and suspension components are really designed to work together so you have the right camber and bump steer curve.
The Superlite SL-C is designed to be built in your garage in less than 220 hours using basic hand tools. You don't need to do any welding, machining or fancy tools.
Superlite SLC can be road legal in USA and Canada. Road legal kit features US and European legal DOT approved glass windshield, DOT and E marked headlights and DOT approved taillights. There are also SL-Cs licensed and registered on the road in other countries
Superlite SL-C price: The complete kit cost $48.400, without engine-gearbox and tires. A complete usually costs about $65.000 using all the new parts and your labor, about 200 man-hours. A truly finished build can cross the $100,000 barrier, especially if you pay a lot of attention to the engine and interior.
