Ultima RS
Weighing about 930 kgs, Ultima RS features a tube-frame chassis and carbon fiber body.
The Chevrolet V8 is available in three options: a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter LTI that delivers 480 hp; a 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 that makes 650 hp; or a 6.2-liter supercharged LT5 that normally delivers 800 hp, but due to Ultima's Tuned for a whopping 1,200 horsepower.
With the LT5 under the hood, Ultima RS can go from 0 to 100km/h in 2.3 seconds.. All power is switched through a Porsche six-speed manual transmission.
The suspension uses double unequal-length wishbones with an extended wishbone at the front. The dampers on the coil spring suspension are fully adjustable for bump, rebound and ride height.
AP Racing brakes are pretty big as standard, with 12.67-inch and 4-cylinder calipers.
Ultima is designed as fast as possible. While other manufacturers seem intent on putting as many new technology driver aids in their cars as they can, Ultima avoids doing so. Because the less input the driver has, the less pure driving pleasure they will enjoy.
