Xanthos 23 is a true Lotus Type 23 reproduction. Even Xanthos parts are used to replace worn components on original Lotus cars that compete in historic races. The Xanthos 23 uses exactly the same original chassis design, with the same completely handcrafted construction methods.
It's powered by a Lotus-Ford Twin Cam or its Cosworth derivative that works primarily with the Hewland Mk.8 or Mk.9.
