Ultimate GT-427
The Ultimate GT-427 chassis is made of 2" X 4" rectangular square tube. It has been torque tested by Formula 1 design team Taylor Race Engineering.
Aside from the wheelbase, the GT-427 has the same dimensions as the original sports car. The transmission tunnel is narrowed and suspension travel is increased for a smoother, more comfortable and more controllable ride. It also provides extra space in the cockpit to accommodate people taller than 1.8 meters.
The car is smart designed for better ergonomics. The footbox is wider, more cabin space is gained by narrowing the transmission tunnel and the dash face plate is removable. In addition to a larger interior, the doors are also. The gear lever and pedals are in a more comfortable position.
The base engine is a 300hp Ford 302, in higher versions it goes up to 575hp. It is mated to a Tremec gearbox.
The front suspension is custom tubular upper and lower control arms designed in-house. Rear suspension is a fully functional 4-Link system.
