International MXT Truck
International MXT (Most eXtreme Truck) is the civilian version of the International MXT-MV.
Its military version, from which it originates, is an infantry vehicle manufactured by Navistar Defense. It can be transported by Lockheed C-130 Hercules military aircraft. Both versions, military and civilian, were developed in parallel. So the MXT is really a tactical vehicle equipped for civilian use on a custom 4WD chassis.
While it shares the cab with some midsize trucks), the MXT sits almost half a meter lower off the ground thanks to its custom frame. It measures 6.4 meters (252 in) long. International MXT is powered by a 6.0L V8 engine producing 340 horsepower and 895Nm, mated to a 5-speed Allison gearbox.
The International MXT-MVU version is currently being produced, a more military-oriented version. The MXT MVU is a versatile vehicle that can be highly customized to meet a variety of specific mission requirements. It's available in regular, enhanced and crew cab versions.
