Rheinmetall Survivor R
The Rheinmetall Survivor R offers the ideal combination of mobility and protection and the best support solution for modern police and security forces. It's jointly developed by German Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) and Austrian company Achleitner.
Rheinmetall Survivor R is based on MAN's 340 hp 4x4 truck chassis, the Rheinmetall Survivor R is equipped with an armoured crew compartment from Rheinmetall Defense, and combines series-produced proven automotive components with the latest protection technology from Germany's leading supplier of military systems.
The armored steel hull can be upgraded with adaptive protection elements to meet changing threat scenarios. The airtight monocoque can be equipped with a CBRN ventilation system to protect the crew from nuclear, biological and chemical warfare agents.
The interior is ergonomically designed and has enough space for a crew of up to 11 people, including personal and communication equipment.
The Survivor R is air transportable on a C-130 Hercules aircraft. It has a very advanced variant, CBRN reconnaissance, its primary role is to detect, identify, sample, and report chemical, biological, and radioactive contamination, and to provide predictive information.
There are no civil versions for this model. The closest vehicle that currently exists is the field ambulance version and the Police/law enforcement version.
