Mitsuoka Himiko
The Mitsuoka Himiko is a luxury roadster designed and built by Mitsuoka. It is named after Himiko, also know as the Mitsuoka Roadster.
It's based on the Mazda MX-5 ND, Mitsuoka replaces most of the body panels, fits fibre-reinforced plastic paneling, leather seats and extends the wheelbase. Mechanically, it's identical to the 1.5-liter MX5 offered in Japan and Europe, and both manual and automatic transmissions are available.
Each Mitsuoka vehicle is handmade by 45 craftsmen at the Japanese Mitsuoka factory in Toyama City, Japan.
