KTM X-Bow
In 2008, Austrian manufacturer KTM presented its interpretation of a 21st century supercar with the production version of the X-BOW. The KTM X-Bow was developed for the street and the track.
Powering this boxy beast is an Audi's turbocharged 2.0-liter TFSI engine paired with a six-speed gearbox, developing 300hp and 420 Nm of torque. For the RR version; develops 360hp.
The KTM X-Bow is an uncompromising driving machine. Many traditional, purely comfort-oriented elements are left out, allowing you to focus on what matters most: the driving experience. The X-Bow can have no ESP, traction control or ABS, and no steering or brake electronic electronic assistance.
The KTM X-Bow features a double-walled and extremely light carbon fiber monocoque, with an incredibly high torsional stiffness of 35,000 Nm/rad. It's a groundbreaking and game-changing technology previously reserved for racing.
The Ktm X-Bow combines outstanding racing technical solutions with with Ktm's high level of engineering.
Examples include high performance coolers and intercoolers from WP Radiator, spring damper units from WP Suspension. The exhaust system and aerodynamics have been developed by KTM in conjunction with Dallara.
Thanks to the front splitter, underbody and rear diffuser, downforce of nearly 200kg is produced at 200km/h, while the aerodynamic package developed for the KTM X-BOW R even produces almost 400kg downforce. Depending on the tires, lateral acceleration can be as high as 2.0 G.
KTM X-Bow price: Starting at € 78.000
