TAG BATT APX
The BATT-APX is a ballistic armored tactical transport. It is ideal for law enforcement and tactical teams operating in rural and urban environments that require better turning radius. BATT-APX is ideal for organisations looking for an armoured rescue vehicle capable of navigating smaller roads and confined spaces.
The BATT-APX is specifically designed to allow two units to be loaded into a 40-foot container and to fit a variety of aircraft configurations.
The floor is designed to mitigate explosions and the car is armored to withstand assault rifle attacks. BATT-APX are armored to NIJ IV/B7 and NIJ III/B6 or both, depending on the needs.
Manufactured by The Armored Group, the TAG BATT APX is based on a Ford F-550 4×4 chassis with petrol and diesel engines. The diesel version offers more torque and quicker throttle response, while the petrol version is quieter and less expensive, but still offers plenty of horsepower.
It is not designed for civilian versions.
