Stohr F1000
The Stohr F1000 is a lightweight car designed for serious racers and track day enthusiasts alike, and has already been raced around the globe! It features an advanced crushable composite nose structure with honeycomb core and integrated wing mounts. This exceeds the safety requirements of the SCCA. The F1000 uses the same rugged billet aluminum (Spar) transaxle housing as our WF1.
DRIVE LINE
The F1000 is suitable for modern 4-cylinder "superbike" engines. Standard equipment includes a WRD designed chain differential with lightened CV joints, an aluminum radiator and dual oil coolers.
BODYWORK
The entire body is made of an advanced polymer matrix composite material that is ultra-light and ultra-strong.
ELEVATION
Center-lock lightweight wheels are standard. Hoosier tires are 8x13 front and 8x13 rear. The steering knuckles are machined from billet aluminum with steel sleeves to increase wheel bearing stiffness. Pushrod suspension with a 1:1 movement ratio is used on all 4 wheels.
