Most unusual cars
Acabion GTBO
The airplane technology that determines the entire acabion evolution, as can be clearly seen, the acabion has a fully smooth (so called laminar) airflow. Fully solar electric at up to 10 000 km range per charge. In theory, the Acabion 0-1-XL 2020, this car have an autonomy of 2300 km at 100 km/h, from just 46 kWh battery capacity.
Av Toros Shaman
Unmatched off-roading capabilities are a consequence of implementing independent suspension for each of the wheels. The vehicle equipped with low pressure tires easily travels through marshes, tundra, rivers, shallow lakes, etc.
In order to get over water obstacles, AV Toros Shaman can be equipped with a screw-propeller enhancing its naval speed up to 4.3 mph. The vehicle has a hermetic boat-formed frame armed with high-performance water pumps (pumping up to 200 liters per minute) that remove water from the frame. Special flaps provide emergent water drop if convenient. Amphibious vehicles are ideal for extreme weather conditions. Hydraulic actuator and power take-off shaft allow you to install a variety of auxiliaries, such as a water propeller. It allows the ATV to easily force water barriers and steadily move on water at speeds up to 7 km/h. Due to quick hydraulic connections, attaching the propeller takes not more than 2 minutes.
Eolo
Eolo is a research and entrepreneurship project that seeks to create an electric automotive industry in Colombia and that this industry has a positive impact on society, the environment and economic growth.
The main innovation in this project is to take advantage of the wind thanks to wind turbines inside the car that contributes 8% to the autonomy of the first prototype developed by Eolo. Now there are working on the second prototype
Hackrod La Bandita
Hackrod La Bandita is the World's First AI-Generated Car. Hackrod is a startup company looking to leverage 3D printing, virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AR) and machine learning in a platform for building cars and motorcycles
Hackrod is developing a design and manufacturing platform within a spatial web environment that aims to democratize product design and drive a new era of creativity and invention, which will allow individuals to take part in product creation as easily as playing a video game.
Jerico
Ok, it really isn't a defined automaker as such. But it is one of the most meritorious cars out there
Handmade vehicle built in large numbers in Alto Paraiso, Brazil. The first jerico would have been the work of this state Lino Bogorni in 1983. The cars are assembled from components, usually Jeeps, pickup trucks and Willys, of which leverage the chassis and transmission 4 × 4; It is often the third dead shaft installation, increasing the load capacity to 2.5 t. In 2007 the city estimated that there are 1,800 jericos in the city, compared to about 330 cars and trucks conventional. Each car was different, for more than ten workshops in the city building jericos, which reviews and restores all components, bought by the kilo in junkyards. So entrenched were these vehicles in the local culture, which almost spontaneously began to emerge competitions builders. The success was immediate, leading to the institutionalization of the National Motor Racing Jericos.
Joe Harmon Splinter
The wooden supercar
The Splinter's engine is a 7.0L small-block V8. With an 8-throttle-body intake manifold, a camshaft ground specifically for our application, and a custom-built crossflow exhaust system to make close to 700bhp.
When most people think of a wooden vehicle, they don't think high performance. They are more likely to picture a canoe made of a hollowed-out log or a rickety wagon made of nailed-together planks. The Splinter, a high-performance, wooden supercar, is not made from these construction techniques. Essentially every wooden part of the Splinter is made from composite construction. Composites like carbon fiber or fiberglass have been seen in cars for decades, but a car using wood composites to the extent that the Splinter does has never been built before.
Korres P4
Korres P4 is a project that we have been following for years. Let's keep in mind that this project started before the SUV boom
The Korres P4 is a true all terrain vehicle utilizing a suspension design based on the principle of wheel interdependence. The Korres P4 suspension system maximizes the potential this principle has to offer, featuring:
Kreidler F-Kart 170
The street legal go-kart has been available on the German market since the end of 2004 and can be driven on public roads with a normal car driver's license (class 3 / B).
The manufacturer Meccanica, in Japan, also produced the same type of vehicles until recently
Lil Big Rid
Lil Big Rig, Scaled down Pete & Kenny Body Kits for the do it yourself home builder or in a turn-key version.
There are mainly based on Ford F250/350 extended cab with a 7.3L Powerstorke diesel and auto transmission, 2 wheel drive and single wheel rear drive. But each one is completely custom built, they usually convert a pickup into a downsize truck.
Incredibly, it is not the only brand to produce mini-trucks. In Brazil we can find these kind of vehicles built by Fapinha
Lit C1 EP4
Alternative energy calls for a new kind of vehicle architecture. A vehicle with efficiency, safety, and unmatched stability.
Was designed for efficient high-speed travel, the exterior of the Lit C-1 is both approachable and simple, enveloping you in subtle curves, softened volumes, and expansive glass. C-1 is fully-enclosed, protecting you from the elements. It has all the comforts you expect from a car, like climate control and a premium sound system With car-like safety features – seat belts, multiple airbags, a steel-reinforced chassis – along with their gyro stability system, the Lit C-1 gives you the safety of a traditional four-wheeled car on two wheels. The best innovation is their patented gyroscopic stability system. They use electronically-controlled control moment gyroscopes (CMGs) to generate thousands of ft-lbs of torque. The gyros are controlled by the vehicle, allowing it to lean itself into and out of turns, and stay upright when stopped–even in a collision! Their gyro system is the key to bringing the safety and interface of a car to a two-wheeled platform. Typically reserved for 4-wheel cars, the AEV (Autonomous-balancing Electric Vehicle) platform not only auto balances but features a reverse drive mode to allow easier ingress and egress out of tight city streets and parking spots.

Modular electric vehicles. Each module can join and detach with other modules on standard city roads. When joined, they create an open, bus-like area among modules, allowing passengers to stand and walk from one module to another.
Modularity allows en-route-transfer, that optimizes system capacity, cuts cost and traffic, increase ubiquity and comfort for the passengers. Thanks to thorough cognitive psychology scientific analysis using Virtual Reality interactive simulation we've developed the most simple and seamless in-motion-transfer user experience
Skyrunner MK 3.2
Part all-terrain buggy, part light-aircraft... the ultimate recreational sports vehicle.
SkyRunner MK 3.2 is an FAA certified special light-sport aircraft (S-LSA) fused with a rugged, military-grade chassis. Arguably, SkyRunner is the most versatile, mechanically redundant and logistically capable machine on the market.
