At drivingyourdream we bring you a complete list of Turkish car brands, since we study almost all car brands in the world. We're dedicated to low volume car brands and to offer free automotive design courses.

In 2016 we did the world largest list of all car brands in current production; maybe you didn't know how many car brands are there in the world, but there are currently more than 3.300, and now we try to keep it updated. It is a rather laborious work, of constant investigation, for which we greatly appreciate the collaboration of others, since it is hard for us to follow all sources of information.

The Turkish automobile manufacturing industry plays an important role in the Turkish economy. Automotive companies operating in Turkey are mainly in the Marmara region. In 2015, Turkey built more than 1.3 million cars, and in 2021 it ranked 14th in the world by number of units manufactured. Turkey is among the 20 countries in the world with the largest number of local automotive brands

The Turkish automotive industry has a large cluster of automakers and parts suppliers, and has become an indispensable part of the global production base network, exporting vehicles and parts worth nearly US$20 billion.

In 2017, almost 85% of exports were sold to Europe. Global automakers with production plants include Oyak-Renault, Fiat/Tofaş, Honda, Toyota, and Ford/Otosan.

The base of this sector was laid in the 1950s, when TOE (Türk Otomotiv Endüstrileri A.Ş.) began to produce REO military vehicles

There are currently 29 brands in our list of all Turkish car manufacturers, although new brands are constantly emerging.
