Elektron QuasarAbout a year ago, Elektron Innovativ introduced its electric supercar, the Elektron One, with a coveted 1,341 horsepower (1,000 kilowatts) of zero-emission propulsion. It should make its debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show, but this didn't happen. Now called Elektron Motors, another concept of this German company has been previewed in the official release. Meet Elektron Quasar, this is also an electric hypercar with more features than the first preview version.
According to Elektron, the Quasar powered by four in-wheels electric motors will produce a total system power of more than 2300 hp (1715 kW). These engines will be accompanied by a technology the company has called the Elektron Smart Torque Vectoring System (ESTV), which will likely help spread power and torque across all four wheels. The entire electric powertrain will weight approximately 1,500 kilograms.
According to Elektron Motors, Quasar reaches 0 - 100 km/h in just 1.65 seconds, with a top speed of 450 km/h. Do you think they will achieve it?
Only 99 examples of the Elektron Quasar will be produced and delivered to its buyers in the span of three years.
Elektron Quasar Price: 2.2 million euros
