​Italy has a long history of manufacturing hypercars and itis no secret that Italy is  famous around the world for its hypercars, you may have heard of famous Italian car brands such as Lamborghini, Pagani or Ferrari. But there are some Italian car brands that you may have never heard of, and they are offering some of the most exciting hyper cars. In this article, we introduce you to such automobile brands that will surely make your jaw drop and instantly make you a fan of these car brands.

Manifattura automobile Torino

​​Abbreviated as MAT, the company was founded in 2014 by an engineer Paolo Garella. The company is a Low Volume Car brand that produces luxury and one-off cars. The first projects were the SCG003C & S, the Apollo Intensa Emozione and Devel 16. But their most famous project is the new Stratos, its production started in January 2018, and was unveiled in the same year in Geneva auto show. 

The new Stratos is based on the chassis of 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia , but its almost 8 inches shorter than  Ferrari F430 Scuderia and a bit larger than the original Scuderia. It is equipped with Scuderia’s 4.3L V8 engine that produces 540hp and 383Nm of torque matted to a six-speed dual clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels. The car takes just 3.3 from a standstill to 60 miles/hour. Though if you want to buy one, it’ll cost you a whopping $1 million.

​​Marciano Prototipi

​​Marciano Prototipi is a small car workshop founded by Vincenzo Marciano in the 1960s. Specializing in restoring classic cars, their most iconic project is the 268A. The car has several components taken from other cars. 13” magnesium wheels from Alfa Romeo 33, windshield from Ferrari 250LM, differential by Jaguar E type, headlights from Ferrari 250GTO and an instrument cluster from Alfa Romeo. It’s a one-offhandmade car, whose entire aluminum body work is done by hands along with other crucial components such as suspension arms, radiators, hubs and fuel tank.

The car’s name represents the car’s engine, it’s a 2600cc 8-cylinder front mounted engine, that is taken from an Alfa Romeo Montreal, the gearbox is also taken from the same Alfa Romeo. Vincenzo Marciano himself designed the chassis for this car, and the project was completed at the end of the 1990s.

​​FV Frangivento

​​FV Frangivento automobile is an Italian hypercar brand. The FV Asfanè DieciDieci is a 1000hp hybrid hypercar that is powered by twin electric motors at the front and a gasoline engine at the rear axle, the body is a mix of aluminum and carbon fiber. Sadly, the car is still a concept car.
 
Another absolutely stunning car from Frangivento is the FV Charlotte, it’s a fully electric powered car that even has a saltwater fish tank, the car made its debut in 2017. The car is truly an exotic car with its interior made from pure silver. It is packed with a 70kW hour battery pack delivering 885hp with a top speed of 305km/h, that takes only 2.6 seconds to go from 0-60mph. It weighs at 1500kg even with the fish tank, the car will set you back at approximately $1.5 million.

​​Spada Vetture Sport

​​The company was founded in 2008, its flagship projects are the Spada Condatronca TS and Condatronca Monza. 

The Condatronca TS styling is based on the Alfa Romeo TZ, it uses a Chevrolet LS7 V8 engine that puts out 630hp and 668Nm of torque, the car takes 3.4 seconds to accelerate from 0-60 mph. The body work is carbon fiber and the roller cages are made up of aluminum. Brembo brakes are used all round the car in order to stop this beast.

The convertible version of the Condatronca TS is known as Condatronca Monza, it uses a supercharged version of LS7 V8 engine and produces 710hp and 701Nm of torque. The car takes just 3 seconds to accelerate from 0-60mph and reaches a top speed of 208mph.

​​Puritalia Automobili

Founded in 2010, the company aims to build “Fuoriserie” (customized) cars. Its first car is the Puritalia Berlinetta, introduced in 2019 Geneva auto show, its an interpretation of the 427 roadster.  Only 150 units of this car will be built.

Body and framework are aluminum and carbon fiber, the car comes with a 5.2kWh battery pack for an electric only range of 20 km. Its powered by a supercharged Ford V8 5L DOHC engine accompanied byan electric motor, combined the car puts out 952hp and 1248Nm of torque. The car comes with a 7-speed electrohydraulic manual transmission in order to handle the extreme power. The car reaches60mph from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 335km/h.
