Lupa Motors is a high-tech Spanish startup created to respond to sustainable and economic mobility. Lupa Motors has developed this project around the concept of the modular battery, thanks to this, customers can buy the car with or without a battery. Because of this, the Lupa E26 will be in the market from 9,400€ without battery; and from 17.000 € with battery

The Lupa E26 offers a power of 87kw (117hp) and a battery of 42Kwh with a range between 320km and 400km in a WLTP cycle. It's offered with a guarantee of 8 years and can be charged in just 28 minutes to 80%

The idea is simple, if you buy a Lupa with a battery and over the years you want to change it for another new model, you can continue using your battery and buy the new Lupa without battery, that it's much cheaper than buying the new car with battery. Therefore, his idea is to be able to get the most out of the battery or the car.

If you have got the car without a battery, for example, you can sell it second hand and the person who buys it can buy a new battery from Lupa Motors directly. So, the buyer will have a second hand car with a new battery. It will be cheaper than buying the new car.

​If you sell the car and you keep the battery, you can buy another new Lupa without a battery and you can assemble it in one of their attached workshops

If not, you can always buy a PowerHome to store all the energy generated by your solar panels and use this energy also at night. You can install a new battery or take advantage of the “old” battery of your Lupa car. The PowerHome will cost € 2,100 and will be launched in 2024

​They plan to launch a B-segment vehicle called Lupa E26, and a Van. In 2024 they plan to launch two urban SUVs: The Lupa SUV42, which will cost € 19,100 with battery, and the Lupa SUV64, which will cost € 23,000 with battery.

All sales will be online and the vehicles will be delivered to participating workshops throughout Europe.
