Mil-Spec Launches Ford F-150 Supertruck

Mil-Spec Automotive is known for its Hummer H1 restorations and now they are expanding into a more daily-drivable area.

On the basis of expanding its current H1 products, Mil-Spec Automotive has launched a new special edition F-150 supertruck line designed to cope with all types of terrain. Mil-Spec Auto Ford F-150 was designed by the same team that worked on the H1 project.

Mil-Spec’s F150 uses an engine with an improved throttle response program. The pick-up is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, which can generate 500bhp . It is also equipped with magnesium paddle shifters mated to a transmission providing sports and manual modes.

In addition, the picku-up can also be equipped with an optional Baja Performance Suspension Package. The optional setting utilizes Fox Racing components, allowing up to 11 inches of wheel travel and as much as 13.5 inches of increased track width over the standard F-150. 

Mil-Spec offers the Baja Exterior Appearance Package, which includes a new low-profile Baja roof rack, a spare tire carrier that can fit an oversized off-road wheels, and a 39-inch LED light bar system.
