New Morgan 3WheelerMorgan Motor Company is developing a new three-wheeled car to replace the current Morgan 3 Wheeler. The final design is kept secret, but Morgan has released photos of pre-production prototypes undergoing durability testing. Its testing and durability program marks the most extensive verification ever developed by Morgan. The new three-wheeled model will be inspired by the early jet era, and will keep an adventurous character. Up front, we see three large slats that likely won't appear on the production car. Although many details of the new model haven't yet been announced, it can be confirmed the use of a naturally aspirated inline three-cylinder Ford engine. So, at the moment, it will not join the boom of electric engines, maintaining the tradition in its 3 wheelers; although it will have numerous technical advances. The previous Morgan 3 Wheeler was in production from 2011 to early 2021. This includes the last 33 Morgan Three-Wheeler P101, which have undergone many aesthetic improvements to celebrate the end of the model's successful ten-year production run. Morgan's 3-wheelers can be traced back to when the company was founded in 1909, when HFS Morgan, the founder of the company, built a tricycle and transported him to Mount Malvern. It proved very popular immediately and produced many variants in the following decades.
