It is the only category in drivingyourdream that allows cars with the size of a truck due to the big size of cars in general in this category​. We are going to see modern Small volume car manufacturers, most are currently in production, others have stopped production a few years ago

140 Repair Plant - Pegas (ПЕГАС)

Pegas is a snow and swamp-going vehicle designed to move people and cargo in difficult terrain conditions (swampy terrain, terrain with deep snow). Snow and swamp-going vehicle has a positive buoyancy, it is equipped with a central tire inflation system, and built-in transmission inter-axle locks of all axes together with low ground pressure that allow to cross any terrain.

On the base chassis is possible a realization of any execution on request of the customer (cargo van, passenger compartment, open or tilt covered platform), as well as special executions (ambulance, fire truck, etc.). This < snow and swamp-going vehicle > can be equipped with various additional equipments (air conditioning system, satellite navigation, radio communication system and so forth). This car is made in Belarus

2 - Agrobat

Agrobat is a Ukrainian car brand that it's in the thin line between a cargo car or a tractor. It is designed for agricultural tasks, but it also works as a Cargo truck, so we include it within our criteria

This is an all- terrain vehicle that carries people and goods in all climatic zones from an ambient temperature of -40 ° С to + 45 ° С and humidity up to 90% at a temperature of + 27 ° С.

3 - Arktiktrans

We saw in the last post why Arkitktrans was an important actor in the story of this kind of cars. At the beginning of its activities, Arktiktrans produced more than 1.500 all-terrain vehicles and << snow and swamp vehicles on low-pressure tires >> , such as Arktiktrans Lopasnya (Лопасня ), Lopasnya-M and cargo snow and swamp vehicles Mamontenok and Mamontenok-M

Currently Arktiktrans produces a wide range of low-pressure tires of its own production, but the cars are no longer in production. The low-pressure tires produced are used on cross-country vehicles, such as single-seat all-terrain vehicles and mini tractors, serial and homemade snow and swamp vehicles, agricultural machines and sprayers

4 - Aton Impulse

​Aton Impulse has developed vehicles capable to meet almost any requirement. The basic model of a new range of amphibious off-road vehicles is the Viking-2992.

Aton Viking is road legal as a conventional car, off-road capable to cross water obstacles like a tracked vehicle and amphibious. The Vehicle handles with extreme conditions easily. Viking is a personnel and cargo SUV to remote areas regardless natural, climatic and weather conditions.

Viking combines Vehicle Type Approval, allowing it to operate on road as a standard car, with off-road ability comparable to tracked vehicles and world-leading amphibious capabilities.

​ 5 - AV Toro

Unmatched off-roading capabilities are a consequence of implementing independent suspension for each of the wheels. The vehicle equipped with low pressure tires easily travels through marshes, tundra, rivers, shallow lakes, etc.

In order to get over water obstacles, AV Toros Shaman can be equipped with a screw-propeller enhancing its naval speed up to 4.3 mph. The vehicle has a hermetic boat-formed frame armed with high-performance water pumps (pumping up to 200 liters per minute) that remove water from the frame. Special flaps provide emergent water drop if convenient. Amphibious vehicles are ideal for extreme weather conditions.

The new steering system also supports multiple turning modes (all wheels turn), which by improving the maneuverability allowed to avoid oversteering (rear wheels are set to straight-ahead position) while driving the ATV at high speed. To move across marshland and to avoid wheels hitting the front wheel track a special drive mode is implemented which was called «crab». Thus, the all-roader could move sideways. Each wheel moves in its track.

​ 6 - Bars

The author of russian buggy Bars is the engineer Alexander Balandin. According to the designer, he wanted to create a special all-terrain vehicle suitable for mountain rescues. This car have got a lightweight frame and soft tires

The machine is available in two versions: 2-seater or 4-seater. 
The width of the all-terrain vehicle is 2.45 meters, and the distance between the axles is 2.6 meters. Bars is equipped with a VAZ-2108 gasoline carburetor engine with a volume of 1289 cm3. and a power of 70 hp. 

​7 - Berkut (СБХ Беркут 8)

Snow-and-swamp vehicle Golden Eagle 8 - an all-terrain vehicle for which there are no obstacles! A vehicle on ultra-low pressure wheels,a two-link floating machine with a balancing suspension and a breaking frame. 

​8 - Bronto (Бронто ) / VTS Marsh (ВТС МАРШ)

Marsh snow and swamp vehicles operate in all climatic zones with any terrain. High cross - country ability of the snow and swamp vehicle , achieved by all-wheel drive, special transmission features and properties of ultra-low pressure tires. Marsh moves freely in deep snow, loose sand and easily overcomes water barriers. 
​They are manufactured on the basis of Lada-21214 and Lada-21310 vehicles .

​10 - Lesnikvologda Forester (​ЛЕСНИК)

The Forester Snow and Swamp is certified for serial production and more than two hundred vehicles had been produced. When creating them, they primarily thought about the simplicity of design, reliability, excellent cross-country ability and buoyancy of all-terrain vehicles, while maintaining an affordable cost. 

The Forester all-terrain vehicle is a wheeled all-terrain vehicle on ultra-low pressure tires. Depending on the model, tires with dimensions of 1300mm and 1600mm are installed. 

The Forester all-terrain vehicle is designed for use in all climatic conditions, on all types of grounds. All models of the Forester all-terrain vehicles are equipped with ultra-low pressure tires that do not destroy the landscape and do not spoil the soil and have excellent off-road patency due to the large contact surface of the wheel. Moreover, on a hard surface, thoses all-terrain vehicle develops high transport speed for this type of vehicle.

​11 - Litvina

​Litvina is a terrain vehicle designed to transport goods and people in all climate zones at ambient temperatures of -40 ° C to +45 ° C and humidity up to 90%. It can run both on roads and off the paved roads. Also on any ground surfaces, boggy ground, loose sand and snowy virgin snow, without damaging tundra of vegetation, as well as to overcome water obstacles.

​12 - Makar

​Exclusive wheels on low-pressure tires are suitable for movement on difficult terrain and water.
Before mass production, the model passed field tests in real expeditions.
Burlak is a Russian Small series car manufacturer and they offered the car in three configurations: expedition, cargo and industrial.

​13 - Maz-Man

The Maz-Man БМЕ-1015 is made in Belarus

The construction of these snow and swamp-going vehicles allows you to move around the water, swampy terrain, on open and ice-covered tundras. Movement on the water is carried out due to the rotation of the wheels, optionally the propeller driven by the engine is installed on the car With a propeller, the speed of the water reaches 8 km / h. The direction of movement is changed by the front wheels.

​BME snowbaths use pneumatic tires of ultra-low pressure of dimension 1400x750-610, which were specially developed for snowbaths. The tires were tested in the most difficult operating conditions

14 - Petrovich (ПЕТРОВИЧ)

​Petrovich is a Russian Small volume car manufacturer. The main feature of their all-terrain vehicles is high cross-country ability. With “Cracket” you can easily overcome water barriers, snowy gaps and deep snow, mountain climbs, marshy swamps, difficult forest and routes. The confirmed operating temperature from -60 to + 50 +С; and with the active buoyancy it can reach speed of movement on the water up to 5 km / h. It has a spacious and roomy cabin with a capacity of up to 12 passengers. 

15 - Predator (Хищник)

​A predator is a snow and swamp vehicle on ultra-low pressure wheels. Due to the volume of tires, it keeps itself confidently in the water, and thanks to the contact surface, which is several times larger than a standard SUV, minimal pressure is created on the ground. Thanks to this, it moves confidently on a weak swamp as well as in the snow. Snow and swamp Predator is an all-terrain vehicle that operate year-round. At the same time, it confidently moves both on public roads and in conditions of complete impassibility

16 - Romb4x4

The first model of the all-terrain vehicle Rom 4x4 was made in 2013. Romb all-terrain vehicles are wheeled all-terrain vehicles on ultra-low pressure in a tubeless design, which helps to overcome difficult terrain, designed for fishermen, hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, to deliver goods to hard-to-reach areas, to collect mushrooms and berries, and everyone who needs overcome the terrain. All-terrain vehicles are equipped with engines of 15 - 27 l / c air cooling from Lifan and with CVT 4-speed transmission. 

17 - Sherp

Sherp is an all-terrain vehicle that will impress everyone with its super-walkability, and it is smaller than it appears at first glance . Sherp easily overcomes boulders, fallen trees and other obstacles up to 70 cm in height. Amphibious SUV has ultra-low pressure tires. It floats perfectly, passes through swamps and deep snow without difficulty, and is also able to easily get out of the water on ice. On this trouble-free car, they repeatedly reached the place where a person’s foot had not stepped. 

A special feature of the SUV is the construction that connects all the tires to the air passages, where the pressure in the tires is divided in the event of an obstacle, which greatly increases the capabilities of the SUV.

18 - SKB Gazstroymashina​

For over 30 years, the Gazstroymashina Special Design Bureau has been working manufacturing All-Terrain vehicles on tires of extra low pressure.

They started their experiments on wheeled vehicles in 1990, by installing wheels from a Kirov truck on standard axles. That design itself did not pass the test, UAZ bridges failed, although the car was moving very well. Subsequently, they made a combined bridge, which partially solved the problem, but did not eliminate it 100%. Then they created an onboard gearbox of a special design. This equipment does not significantly increase the mass of the entire car and allows you to install wheels with a diameter of up to 1300 mm, without threatening the transmission and driving axles in particular.

To date, the production of leading bridges of a special design, suitable for snow and swamp, has been mastered. The main focus during the development was on reliability, therefore, their trouble-free operation can be guaranteed even with wheels with a diameter of 1750 mm.


The SKB-400 family was created for operation in harsh conditions of heavy off-road, rough terrain, and complete lack of roads. High adaptability to operation in extreme conditions, phenomenal cross-country ability makes all-terrain vehicles indispensable helpers in a wide variety of fields, from working to sports and entertainment. 19 - Trekol

All-terrain vehicles on low-pressure tires since the beginning of the 80s of the XXth century have become a worthy alternative to tracked vehicles. Due to the large contact surface, the low-pressure air passage significantly exceeds the cross-country ability of the model with ordinary tire pressure carefully treats the soil. The company Trekol presents snow and swamp vehicles on ultra-low pressure tires of their own production using unique technology.

​​20 - TTX Atlanta (ТТХ АТЛАНТА9)

TTX Atlanta 6x6 all-terrain vehicle (VTS) on ultra-low pressure pneumatic wheel-propellers is designed to carry out transportation on all types of roads and terrain (including soils with low bearing capacity, snow powder, sand, tundra and swamps), regardless of the season, days and weather conditions. An all-terrain vehicle can swim across small water obstacles. The buoyancy of the PTS is ensured by the displacement of the wheels and the sealed boat body. Movement afloat is due to the rotation of the wheels.

​​21 - Yamal

Yamal uses special tires with ultra-low pressure wheels which allows to the vehicle to drive trough snow or any powdery surface of any depth, but also to float 
Yamal is based on the  UAZ 3163 Patriot  and it is equipped with ZMZ 2.7 16V engine. Yamal is ready for normal use and for extreme all terrain use including as a floating vehicle. This car is not in current production

​​22 - Yemelya

Yemelya is an amphibious vehicle designed for transportation over ice floes and thin ice of the Arctic Ocean. Its six wheels are dressed with special low pressure tires inflated to 0,7 bar. The gross vehicle weight is under 1,5 tons while the total water displacement of the six inflated tires constitutes 4 tons resulting in the very shallow draft of the vehicle body in water - just 10 centimeters. Despite the large profile and windage characteristics of vehicle’s body, its spinning wheels are capable of propelling at the speed of 2-3 km/h on the open water. The vehicle tows three single-axel trailers each loaded with a pair of 200 L fuel barrels and six 130 L plastic containers for food and gear. 

Inside Yemelya is a spacious, well insulated transport capable of accommodating Arctic travelers for extended periods of time with safety and comfort.

​​23 - Wanderer

​To obtain the specified (by the all-terrain vehicle designation) indicators of patency - reliability - safety, the design is based on a laborious, but effective scheme of a two-section, articulated machine with longitudinal balancers and eight driving wheels. The engine is a VAZ-2103 1500cc 

The transmission scheme is similar to the scheme used on the VAZ-21213 (Niva), with one single difference - the eight wheels are driven by four drive rollers attached to the standard axles of two axles. The ability to control the traction characteristics and the manage the additional support area for the wheels is carried out through the use of a centralized tire inflation system, controlled from the driver's seat
